Audiologist Overview:

Our Audiologists are responsible for creating an exceptional patient journey through first-class patient care and appropriate hearing treatments. In addition, our Audiologists are responsible for growing and maintaining our practices while acting in accordance with required industry and state licensing standards.


•         Define patient hearing impairment by administering relevant tests; operating diagnostic equipment; determining type and degree of hearing impairment; interpreting audiometric diagnostic data

•         Provide appropriate treatments by fitting hearing aids and other assistive devices; counseling patients and families; conducting programs in aural rehabilitation

•         Work collaboratively with staff and support services to achieve opportunity creation and revenue sales goals while maintaining productive and respectful relationships with all team members

•         Sustain effective scheduling practices to grow patient relationships

•         Take initiative to continuously capture, coordinate and maximize opportunities

•         Maintain legal and accreditation compliance by adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and professional standards

Job Requirements


•         Master’s degree in audiology or combined audiology and speech science; Au.D. preferred

•         Holds a permanent license in Audiology from the State Board of Examiners Office for Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists

•         Has a minimum of two years of professional experience equivalent to an audiologist; prior experience selling hearing aids in a dispensing practice

•         Displays an aptitude to administer complete audiology evaluations, hearing aid selections and fittings, hearing aid evaluations and rehabilitation programs

•         Exhibits an ability to operate audiometric equipment and interpret results accurately

•         Consistently shows excellent interpersonal skills to engage and motivate patients

•         Demonstrates ability to work in a collaborative team environment for planning and implementing  daily, weekly, monthly initiatives
